A Global Iconic Lifestyle Fashion Brand focused on continued recovery from the pandemic-related impact, and they witnessed their Asia retail business has emerged with an outperformance, better than expected. Therefore, one of their strategic priorities is to accelerate their investment in the critical area of digital transformation in Asia.
They decided to formalize and build the regional digital/e-commerce structure in Hong Kong as their regional service hub to keep the strong momentum to drive future growth for the Asia market, including China, Japan, Korea, India, and Southeast Asia.
/02 CHALLENGE
As e-commerce functions has only been developed in Hong Kong quite recently, very strong or specialized e-commerce talents, particularly for fashion digital/e-commerce operations are limited and highly sought after.

In addition to the COVID-19 related impact and unstable economic environment, qualified candidates are particularly cautious about making job changes.
/03 RESULT
Our partnership effort with our client allowed a positive outcome of assembling a top-talented e-commerce team including an e-commerce Japanese Speaking Marketing Specialist, focusing on Japan market, Regional Digital Graphic Designer, Regional Senior e-commerce Merchandising Specialist, and Regional e-commerce Buyer. Our client successfully established their digital capability to move on to enhance their e-commerce business and to expand profitability, even under the pandemic with travel restrictions, city lock-down, and social distancing.
